--- DC LOFTY UNDERGOING CONSTRUCTION FROM END NOVEMBER TO SPRING OF 2012. IT WILL BE THE NEWEST HOSTEL WITH ALL OF THE LUXURIES

We have had some construction dellays, but DC Lofty is fully operational while under construction, with expected completion date for April 3rd, 2012.

a) individual reading light/outlet/ for most of the beds. b) gourmet kitchen with an island, professional appliances, and multiple fridges for you to feel at home. c) two small patios for extra outside enterntainment. d) brand new higher quality memory foam (not those dreaded spring) mattresses. e) a bathroom for nearly every room, with almost all of them ensuite. f) brand new hardwood floors, and fully carpeted elsewhere (to keep it soft with no shoes). g) area to buy all of the necessary items right on site! h) free maps, free tourist information, free computers, free wifi, free movies, free international phones! annnnnnnnnnd so much more!

Buses and the major transportation system in DC, the metro, are located just 3 blocks from the Capitol View hostel/inn, and 4 blocks from the Convention Center hostel. We will be happy to suggest the multiple free museums that you should definitely visit. Oh, and the National Zoo is a must! It is located on the redline, and is very easy and convenient to access through Convention Center Metro stop.
